Ground Source Heat Pump

Being remote and off the gas grid, our client required an alternative to fossil fuel heating. Tyas Heat Ltd being fully MCS accredited for Heat Pumps, designed a ground source heat pump solution. Having available land adjacent, allowed ground loops to be laid approximately 1.2 meters in depth. These ground loops collect low grade heat that allows the internal heat pump to turn it into higher temperatures at a highly efficient level. Coupled together with a network of underfloor heating created a very efficient whole house heating and hot water solution.  Switching to heating systems that use eligible energy sources can help the UK reduce its carbon emissions and meet its renewable energy targets.
